Dr.-Ing. Timo Kuthada
Timo Kuthada studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1999. He completed his Ph.D. on the “The Optimization of Passenger Car Cooling Air Duct Systems under the Influence of Ground Simulation Techniques” in 2006 at the University of Stuttgart, which was awared with the Kamm-Jante Medal for outstanding scientific work in the field of automotive and engine technology on behalf of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Kraftfahrzeug- und Motorentechnik (WKM).
Now he is Head of the department “Thermal Management and Environmental Testing” at FKFS (Research Institute of Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines Stuttgart) and IFS (Institute of Automotive Engineering of the University of Stuttgart).
He has published over 100 technical papers in international conferences and journals. His research focusses on thermal management, passenger comfort, rain water management and environmental testing.
