Call for Papers – closed

If you have already submitted your abstract, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the technical conference program.

All submitted abstracts via the SAE submission platform had the following presentation possibilities:

Oral presentation and submission of a paper: Your paper will undergo a peer-review process to ensure high-quality contributions. If it gets accepted it will be published by SAE and you will have the opportunity to present your paper at the conference.
Oral presentation only: Alternatively you may have chosen to just hold an oral presentation at the conference.

Final manuscript submission:	Friday, September 5, 2025
Powerpoint presentation:	Day of your presentation at the conference

Energy infrastructure build-up, bottlenecks and challenges in renewable electricity, hydrogen, renewable fuels incl. life-cycle evaluation
Powertrain electrification, hybrids, fuel cells and battery technologies
High efficiency development in combustion processes and exhaust gas aftertreatment
Lower carbon intensity fuels (e.g. hydrogen, eFuels, bioFuels) and carbon neutrality in motorsports
Global market development and political framework for carbon neutrality

Presentation Time	20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of discussion
Presentation Language	English (without translation)
Slide Language	English
Technical Devices	Please store your presentation on a USB memory stick and bring it to the conference or send it in advance via mail to powertrains-conference(at)fkfs.de. A support team is available on site.
Preparation	Please go to the IT engineers in the lecture hall 15 minutes before the start of your session. Your presentation will be loaded and tested.

Presentation Time	Each speaker has 5 minutes to present their topic using one presentation slide. It is important to present the topic in clear and understandable language so that all guests can easily follow the presentation. Following the pitch session, there will be a break to discuss the previously heard short presentations. Participants will have the opportunity to approach the speakers directly.
