Motivation & Technology Outlook

The course is canceled

Lecturer:

Prof. André Casal Kulzer, IFS University of Stuttgart
& Hans-Jürgen Berner, FKFS Stuttgart

Target Group

The course has been designed for automotive/mechanical/electrotechnical engineers and researchers, with the aim of learning about hydrogen technology and the challenges and opportunities associated with its production, transport, storage, and application to mobility. IFS and FKFS have been engaged in engineering research and education in powertrains topics, also hydrogen mobility, for over 30 years. This course comprises a compendium of material being introduced in teaching of graduate level courses at the University of Stuttgart, and it is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the subject matter to automotive interested engineers.

Course Objectives

The course is designed to provide an introduction and detailed understanding of hydrogen production, transport, storage and application to mobility. The participants will get insights and detailed knowledge in the field of hydrogen in order to be able to carry out hydrogen related development at vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, engineering service providers or energy providers under consideration of the many interfaces to other disciplines.
