Commercial vehicle architectures are offered in high-volume products. The opportunities for a reorientation arise from the consideration of new drive technologies with ecological and economic aspects. Individualized vehicle concepts can be developed in a future-oriented way to meet logistical requirements economically and emission-free. Public transportation, road traffic, road structures and buildings are factors influencing commercial vehicle designs in addition to the required logistics. Commercial vehicles must be adapted in terms of size, weight, drive, speed, etc. as the basis for development and design in the future. Individualization of overall commercial vehicle concepts for inner-city delivery will be a central topic in the development and manufacture of small, emission-free vehicles.
