2. - 3. Juli 2024

Session: Workshop | | 08:30 - 10:00

Efficient development and validation of future advanced driver assistance systems: An integrated tool chain that combines the benefits of MBSE, PLE and system simulation.

Max Nestoriuc, AVL Deutschland GmbH
Sebastian Schroeter, AVL Deutschland GmbH

The development of ADAS systems faces challenges such as the complex integration of various sensors and algorithms, as well as ensuring reliability and safety under different environmental and traffic conditions. As part of the workshop, a comprehensive toolchain will be presented, based on Product-Line Engineering (PLE) methods. Using the example of an automated lane change, an ADAS system will be specified and validated at the system level to secure system functionality early and manage variant diversity. The individual steps will be carried out in small groups, followed by the exchange and discussion of experiences.

The workshop will be carried out by AVL.
